Health ministry in Hamas-run Gaza says war death toll at 29,692; ceasefire negotiations still going on

GAZA STRIP, Palestinian Territories (AFP): The health ministry in Hamas-run Gaza said Sunday that at least 29,692 people have been killed in the Palestinian territory during the war between militants and Israel.

The toll includes at least 86 fatalities in the past 24 hours, while 69,879 people have been injured since the conflict began on October 7, a ministry statement said.
