Errant businesses in Brunei fined

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/Asia News Network): The Department of Economic Planning and Statistics (JPES) under the Ministry of Finance and Economy issued fines to two businesses for non-compliance with the Price Control Act, Chapter 142 and regulations under it.

This was following a routine enforcement inspection by JPES personnel and consumer complaints received by the department through official channels. The two businesses were found to be repeat offenders.
