Three foreign women arrested in Brunei's suspected prostitution raid

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Three foreign women have been arrested following a police raid on a house in Kampong Selayun, Jerudong, in connection with suspected prostitution activities.

The operation was carried out recently by the Gambling Suppression and Vice Prevention Investigation Unit under the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF).

The suspects, aged between 37 and 49, were detained on suspicion of involvement in immoral activities.

They were taken to the CID along with items seized during the operation to assist with investigations.

The case is being investigated under Section 294A of the Penal Code (Chapter 22).
