Cambodia to host Asian Youth Games as PM Hun Sen promises it will be ‘even bigger than SEA Games’


PHNOM PENH, June 11 (Phnom Penh Post/ANN): Prime Minister Hun Sen announced that Cambodia is preparing to host the 5th Asian Youth Games (AYG) in 2029. The sporting event is described as even bigger than the South-East Asian Games (SEA Games) and Asean Para Games.

The hosting of this year’s games was crucial to developing the Kingdom’s capacity to host larger events.
