Another volatile session expected for ringgit this week


KUALA LUMPUR, March 5 (Bernama): The ringgit is expected to endure more volatility next week ahead of Bank Negara Malaysia’s monetary policy committee (MPC) meeting on the overnight policy rate (OPR) on March 9.

Bank Muamalat Malaysia Bhd head of economics, market analysis and social finance Mohd Afzanizam Abdul Rashid said BNM’s upcoming MPC meeting will be a key event as markets would want to see the latest financial assessment from the central bank.
