Two shot to death after roadside spat

AN early-morning shooting incident in Nikhom Phatthana district, Rayong province, left two people dead and two others inju­red, local media reported.

Preliminary police findings showed that a man got into an argument with a roadside store owner while buying water yesterday. He later returned with a fire­arm and fired multiple shots.

The store owner, a man in his 40s, and his 33-year-old friend were shot dead. Two others were injured and taken to hospital.

After the shooting, the suspect fled by vehicle and was later inter­cepted by police.

The motive remains under inves­tigation. — Xinhua
