Brunei cops shuts down crypto mining operations with unauthorised connections


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Jan 8 (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): Two more cryptocurrency mining operations were discovered and shut down following a joint operation by the Department of Electrical Services (DES), the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) and Autoriti Elektrik Negara Brunei Darussalam (AENBD) on Saturday (Jan 7).

The 30-man operation, a follow-up to operations on December 28 and 31, 2022, raided two locations at Kampong Menglait and Kampong Serasa.
