PRIME Minister Hun Sen addressed the 77th UN General Assembly (UNGA) in the early hours of Sept 24, highlighting global challenges exacerbated by the escalation of armed conflicts and superpower rivalry, among others, while urging world leaders to adopt a balanced approach to the pressing issues based on multilateralism.

Hun Sen said the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war has sent shockwaves across the world, causing serious economic disruptions and threatening energy and food security.
