Thai-Myanmar trade hit after border bridge bombed

BANGKOK (The Nation/Asia News Network): Trade between Thailand and neighbouring Myanmar has been affected after a Myanmar anti-government group bombed a concrete bridge linking Myawaddy to Thailand’s Mae Sot on March 11.

The incident has led to a drop in the number of cargo trucks from Thailand transiting the second Thai-Myanmar Friendship Bridge in Tak’s Mae Sot district.
