Do-it-yourself travel emerges as a new normal trend in Vietnam

HO CHI MINH CITY (Vietnam News/Asia News Network): As tourism recovers in the new normal after the lifting of pandemic- related restrictions, self-organised tours bypassing travel agency services have emerged as a rising trend, a local report says.

Compared to last year, the number of people travelling during the Lunar New Year holidays has dramatically increased and among them, a marked trend can be seen towards self-organised tours, according to the Sài Gòn Giải Phóng (Liberated Sài Gòn) newspaper.
