Indonesia to invite Pacific nations to G20 Summit: Minister

JAKARTA (The Jakarta Post/Asia News Network): Indonesia wants to invite representatives from the economically and ecologically vulnerable South Pacific to the Group of 20 Summit in Bali next year as part of its commitment to the Pacific and inclusive growth, its top diplomat said at a ministerial meeting with New Zealand.

Foreign Minister Retno LP Marsudi hosted her visiting counterpart Nanaia Mahuta in Jakarta on Monday (Nov 15) as part of the Indonesia-New Zealand joint ministerial commission meeting, the two nations’ annual consultation forum.
