Brunei among the safest countries in the world, says European Union


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, July 5 (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): Brunei is among 11 countries that benefit from restriction-free entry to the European Union (EU) and Schengen Area member states, after the Council of the EU agreed to add these countries to the EU’s list of epidemiologically safe countries.

Brunei Darussalam has recorded a low number of Covid-19 cases, whereby as of July 3, the total number of cases stood at 262. The last reported local Covid case was on May 6, 2020 or 423 days ago.
