China's top legislature strongly opposes US bill on innovation

BEIJING (China Daily/Xinhua): The National People's Congress, China's top legislature, on Wednesday (June 9) expressed strong indignation and resolute opposition to a US bill on innovation and competition, saying it tried to curb the development of China.

The bill is full of ideological prejudice and driven by a Cold-War mentality, according to a statement issued by the NPC's Foreign Affairs Committee.
