Indonesia foreign visitor arrivals down 86.6% as its Covid-19 cases reach a 1.527 million

JAKARTA, April 3 (Reuters): Indonesia's foreign visitor arrivals fell 86.59% on a yearly basis to around 117,000 in February, slowing slightly from a month earlier, as the coronavirus pandemic disrupts global travels, data from the statistics bureau has announced.

The reason behind the big fall is mainly due to the Covid-19 pandemic which Indonesia has been struggling to overcome since early last year.
