Japan teams up with Singapore in digital technology programme; Covid-19 cases goes above 100,000

TOKYO, Oct 30 (Bernama): Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga and his Singaporean counterpart, Lee Hsien Loong, agreed on Thursday night that their countries will work together in the fields of digital technologies and cross-border travel amid the spread of the Covid-19 (coronavirus) infections, Jiji Press reported.

Talking over the phone, Suga and Lee also confirmed the two countries' collaboration over issues in the South China Sea and North Korea's abductions of Japanese nationals decades ago.
