Laos: Over 47,500 people tested for Covid-19 as country grapples with dengue issues


VIENTIANE, Sept 21 (Xinhua): Laos Ministry of Health urged authorities and people countrywide to stay vigilant in protecting themselves from Covid-19 and also a rising dengue problem.

People countrywide must continue their efforts in implementing preventive measures and adapt to the new normal to stop the spread of the virus, Deputy Director General of the Department of Communicable Diseases Control under the Laos Ministry of Health Latsamy Vongkhamsao said in a press conference on Monday.
