PETALING JAYA: Debutants Malaysian Indian Sports Council-Malaysian Indian Football Association (MISC-MIFA) defied the form books to beat fancied Sabah and lift the Tun Sharifah Rodziah Cup.

Defending champions Sabah went down 3-2 in a penalty shootout after both teams were deadlocked 1-1 in regulation time in the women’s final at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) grounds in Bangi.
