KUALA LUMPUR: Buddhist temples across the country are making preparations to welcome throngs of devotees to celebrate Wesak Day.

Falling on May 3 this year, most Buddhists understand it to be a day marking the birth, enlightenment and the death of Siddhartha Gautama Buddha, but to Sandy Lim Wan Phei, Wesak means much more than that.
