Biometric requirements for Indian visas from April 1


KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysians applying for visas to India including Tourist and Business visas will be required to go in person to the India Visa Application Centre (IVAC), here from April 1 onwards.

Indian visa outsourcing agent IVS Global Services Sdn Bhd's operations head K.Thangavelu said that the introduction of biometrics registration for all nationals and all categories is apart from the current requirement of biometrics for non-Malaysian foreigners, student visa, employment visa, medical visa and entry visa applicants.
