Do not be surprised to see a robot whizzing by along the hallways of a hotel in Silicon Valley. It’s the latest domestic hire.

Tweets aren’t exactly a currency that will buy you anything in today’s capitalist market. But for one newly inducted butler at Starwood’s Aloft Hotel in Cupertino, California, the 140-character messages sent over Twitter are being accepted as tips for services rendered.
