Oppo's latest addition to its photography-centric flagship lineup, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra, has debuted with a Hasselblad-powered quad camera setup.

The rear camera cluster of the device features two 200-megapixel sensors, consisting of a wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens with up to 3x optical zoom, while the other two 50-megapixel shooters have an ultra-wide lens and an ultra-telephoto lens that goes up to 10x optical zoom.

The Find X9 Ultra's camera system can be further enhanced with a Hasselblad 300mm Explorer Teleconverter attachment, which gives the 200-megapixel telephoto camera effectively 13x optical zoom.

The Find X9 Ultra comes in two colour options: Canyon Orange and Tundra Umber.

Those interested should, however, note that the Hasselblad 300mm Explorer Teleconverter is part of the Hasselblad Earth Explorer Kit, which needs to be purchased separately from the smartphone.

All the sensors support optical image stabilisation (OIS), except for the 50-megapixel ultra-wide.

Shifting to the front of the device, the smartphone is equipped with a 6.82in Amoled display capable of up to 144Hz refresh rate. At the top of the screen is a 50-megapixel hole-punch selfie camera.

True to its camera focus, the Find X9 Ultra even has a standalone shutter button for photo-taking. The shutter button can also be used to activate Oppo's "AI Mind Space", which can be used to compile and organise ideas and content for easy access.

This comes alongside a suite of other artificial intelligence (AI) features, including an AI bill manager that the company claims can provide summaries and organisation for spending and an AI writing assistant, among others.

The device is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, with a 7,050mAh battery that supports up to 100W Supervooc charging, and 50W Airvooc wireless charging.

It also has IP66, IP68, and IP69 water and dust resistance, an under-screen fingerprint reader, and support for NFC.

The Find X9 Ultra comes in two colour options: Canyon Orange and Tundra Umber, with the choice between two storage variants: 12GB RAM with 512GB internal storage (RM6,799) or 16GB RAM with 1TB internal storage (RM7,799).

Pre-orders for the device are available until May 7, with buyers receiving a free storage upgrade to 16GB RAM and 1TB during this period, along with a purchase-with-purchase (PWP) offer for a one-year screen protection plan for RM99.

Oppo also launched the Find X9s, featuring a triple camera system made up of a 50-megapixel ultra-wide shooter, a 50-megapixel wide-angle sensor, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with up to 3x optical zoom.

Up front, a 32-megapixel hole-punch selfie camera sits at the top of the 6.59in Amoled display, which supports up to a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it has a MediaTek Dimensity 9500s, with a 7,025mAh battery that charges at 80W over Supervooc.
