Xiaomi has made a new addition to its device lineup with the Redmi A7 Pro, a budget-oriented smartphone equipped with a 6.9in display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
The device comes with a dual-camera setup on the back, with a 13-megapixel main shooter and an auxiliary sensor. For selfies, the Redmi A7 Pro has an 8-megapixel camera embedded in a teardrop-shaped notch at the top of the screen.

Keeping its Unisoc T7250 processor powered is a 6,000mAh battery, capable of 15W fast charging. Xiaomi says that the battery holds up for over two days of usage on a single charge.
Buyers should note that the device only supports up to 4G connectivity, meaning that it will not be able to connect to the 5G network.

Unlike most other modern smartphones, the Redmi A7 Pro comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack, along with a side-mounted fingerprint reader in the power button.
The dual SIM card slot on the device also comes with a shared microSD card tray, meaning those in need of more storage can opt to slot one in.

It further comes with a small range of artificial intelligence (AI) features, including Google Circle to Search, which allows users to quickly perform a search for on-screen content without leaving an app, and AI enhancements for photos of the sky captured with the device.
The Malaysian release of the devices comes in three colour options: Sunset Orange, Black, and Mist Blue, with two storage variants priced at RM399 (4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage) and RM449 (4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage) respectively.
