In a continuation of the smartphone maker's collaboration with German camera manufacturer Leica, Xiaomi has unveiled its latest lineup of flagship smartphones, the photography-oriented Xiaomi 15 Series.

The top-of-the-line Xiaomi 15 Ultra features a Leica quad-camera system: a 50-megapixel main shooter, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera capable of macro photography, a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with up to 200mm optical zoom, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera.

Meanwhile, the standard Xiaomi 15 has a triple-camera setup, with a 50-megapixel main sensor also featuring variable focal lengths, a 50-megapixel telephoto, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide.

Both devices have a 32-megapixel front-facing hole-punch selfie camera and are equipped with Leica Summilux lenses.

Looking at the display on the 15 Ultra will reveal a 6.73in WQHD+ Amoled panel capable of up to 120Hz refresh rate. The Xiaomi 15 has a slightly smaller 6.36in display.

Both models come with two storage options, with the choice of either 512GB (priced at RM5,199) or 1TB (RM5,699) internal storage along with 16GB RAM on the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, while the Xiaomi 15 can be equipped with either 256GB (RM3,499) or 512GB (RM3,699) internal storage and 12GB RAM.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is available in Black, White, and Silver Chrome, while the standard model comes in Black, White, Green, and Liquid Silver.

The respective devices are powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and include Xiaomi HyperAI, which is the company's suite of artificial intelligence-powered tools, which can function as a writing assistant, video and image editor, and translator, among other things.

Customers who pre-order the Xiaomi 15 Ultra by March 7 will be eligible for a photography kit worth RM799 from Xiaomi, OpenWear Stereo wireless headphones worth RM599, along with an RM100 pre-order rebate while stocks last.

On the other hand, pre-order bonuses for the standard model include a Xiaomi Watch S4, worth RM699, and an RM100 pre-order rebate.
