BERLIN: Ever wondered how many WhatsApp messages you have sent altogether? It could well be a lot but for a more specific figure, check the app.
Open settings, then head to Storage and Data and tap Network usage.
That shows you how many messages you have sent – and it also displays total number of messages you have received.
At the top of the list, you can also find the number of outgoing and incoming calls.
WhatsApp also records the messages you sent and the ones that have been received as separate figures.
You will also find the amount of data transferred from and to your phone, with separate listings for data traffic generated by media such as photos or videos alongside roaming data traffic abroad.
And you can find the total amount of data sent and received with WhatsApp.
Finally, at the bottom, you can select the Reset statistics option, which will irreversibly clear all those figures and set everything back to zero so you can start counting all over again. – dpa/Tribune News Service
