Police: Practice ‘3Ts’ to avoid being scammed


DSP Mohd Nor Daud urged the public to be more cautious with online purchases as to not be scammed, coining a catchy slogan, the 3Ts. — Bernama

The public is advised to practice ‘3Ts’ to avoid becoming victims of online fraud syndicates, Perlis Police Contingent Headquarters’ Commercial Crime Investigation Department chief DSP Mohd Nor Daud said.

He said the 3Ts are ‘tanya, teliti and tidak tamak’ (ask questions, do research and avoid being greedy) that should be practised every time they want to make an online purchase or investment so that they would not suffer any losses.
