International Business Machines Corp (IBM) is considering a sale of its IBM Watson Health business, a person with knowledge of the matter said, a move that would help newly appointed chief executive officer Arvind Krishna focus on faster-growing cloud computing operations.

Deliberations are at a very early stage and the company may opt not to pursue a deal, said the person, who asked not to be identified discussing private talks.
