The hashtag #RIPTwitter is trending today with over 98,000 tweets and counting as most users mock the platform's plan to introduce its own version of Stories.

According to a Twitter blog posting, the platform will begin testing a new feature called Fleets to users in Brazil through the app (both iOS and Android). Fleets allow users to share momentary opinions without getting Retweets, likes or public comments and the posts will disappear after 24 hours.
