Apple Inc and the US government are once again at odds over access to iPhones involved in a terrorist attack, putting the world’s largest technology company under renewed pressure to weaken privacy features that have become a key selling point.
US Attorney General William Barr slammed Apple on Jan 13 for not helping investigators unlock iPhones belonging to the perpetrator of a Dec 6 terrorist attack at a Navy base in Florida.
