Money transfers via Touch ‘n Go eWallet will get a 10% bonus this month

Users will seem extra generous when transfering cash with the Touch 'n Go eWallet this month, as the service will top up an additional 10% to the transfer amount. — Touch 'n Go

Paying back a friend using the Touch ‘n Go eWallet will get them a little extra, as the service is offering a 10% bonus to recipients.

According to Touch 'n Go's website, the promo works for transfers with a minimum of RM1, where the receiver will get a 10% bonus, which in this case would be 10sen.

The maximum a user can receive from this promotion is RM5. This means if they receive a transfer worth RM50, or two transfers worth RM30 and RM20, they will receive an extra RM5.

If the transfer amount exceeds RM50, say RM60 or RM100, the receiver will still only get a maximum bonus of RM5.

Also, only the first three transfers made per sender will get the additional 10% bonus.

According to the FAQ, the bonus amount cannot be cashed out of the eWallet. However, users can spend it on paying tolls, QR code payment at participating merchants, transferring money to other Touch ‘n Go eWallet users and more.

The promotion runs until Sept 30 or until the first 200,000 transfers are made.

The bonus amount is not reflected immediately and may take up to three working days to be credited to the recipient’s account. Those who terminate their account during the promo period will not be allowed to earn or use the bonus.
