Google Chrome to get universal media play/pause button

Google looks to be testing a new version of its app that includes a share button, so that you can quickly share a Google search. — dpa

Google Chrome is working on a universal Play/Pause button on the browser's toolbar which will let users pause media in any tab, without needing to find the specific tab that's playing.

ZDNet reports that the feature named Global Media Controls (GMC) is enabled on Chrome's testing platform, Chrome Canary.
