Apple to swap keyboard switches

Apple will be getting rid of the butterfly mechanism used in its Macbook keyboards, in favour of scissor switch keyboards for future models of its laptops, says an Apple analyst.

Ming-Chi Kuo reports on 9to5Mac, that Apple will roll out a new keyboard design starting with the 2019 MacBook Air and the MacBook Pro in 2020.
