Solo Waze users will soon be able to drive safer, as Google Assistant integration aims to allow drivers to speak rather than type commands into the driving navigation app.

Google Assistant director Austin Chang said the voice assistant's navigation features has been expanded beyond Google Maps to ensure those using Waze can depend on Google Assistant to stay connected, informed and minimise distractions while on the go.
