Life Is Strange fans finally get the Max and Chloe conclusion they’ve been waiting for this week.

Life Is Strange: Reunion arrives for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC for US$40 (RM160) on Thursday, March 26, with the ending of the time-bending story.

The latest instalment follows protagonists Max Caulfield and Chloe Price as they race through time to stop Chloe’s nightmares and “impossible memories” of her death.

Meanwhile, Max is also using her Rewind power to save Caledon University where she has to turn back time to save her friends who died on campus during a blazing fire.

Gameplay features beloved and new mechanics for fans to test out. As usual, gamers can select various conversation and action options to change the course of the story and the consequences from those choices.

However, they also can switch between Max and Chloe’s perspectives and use their abilities to complete four-dimensional puzzles within a scene.

This release includes a standard edition along with three limited-edition copies.

You can pick up the digital only Life Is Strange: Reunion Deluxe Edition for US$50 (RM200), which includes the full game plus a digital mini soundtrack, a digital art book, a digital comic and an exclusive behind-the-scenes documentary featuring actors Hannah Telle (Max) and Rhianna DeVries (Chloe).

If you want to catch up on the storyline but didn’t get to see the events in the previous sequel, you can get the digital only Life Is Strange: Reunion Twin Pack for US$60 (RM240). This comes with the full Life Is Strange: Reunion - Standard Edition and the full Life is Strange: Double Exposure Standard Edition to understand why Max needed to use her powers to merge two realities.

However, if you need all the collectors’ items, you can opt for the Life Is Strange: Reunion Collector’s Edition for US$100 (RM396) exclusively on the Square Enix Store. It comes with the full game in a Collector’s Goods box and sleeve with exclusive artwork by Ilya Kuvshinov and nine additional collectibles.

Plus, all editions of Life Is Strange: Reunion come with the Max and Chloe Classic Outfits DLC, if you order now through May 5. — nj.com/TNS
