Get the Samsung Galaxy A30 and A10 for free with Celcom postpaid plans

Celcom is offering the newly-released Samsung Galaxy A30 worth RM799 for free through its mobile Platinum postpaid plan.

The Platinum plan comes with 60GB of Internet data, 100GB Super Video Walla data for video streaming and unlimited calls to all network for RM148 a month. Alternatively, if the user needs a plan with more Internet data, they can opt for the Platinum Plus postpaid which offers 100GB of Internet data, 100GB Super Video Walla and unlimited calls to all networks for RM188 a month.

Users will be tied to a 24-months contract for the plan with the A30 device. They will also need to pay an upfront of RM700 and this amount will be rebated in the first bill. 

The A30 has a 6.4in display Full HD+ Super Amoled display with an Infinity-U notch. The device comes with a rear fingerprint scanner and it supports facial recognition. Its dual rear camera setup includes a 16-megapixel lens and five-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens that can capture a 123° field of vision.

The camera also uses AI to detect and enhance images in 19 modes that includes Night View, Sunset and CityStreet. It also comes with a Flaw Detection feature that will inform users if a subject in the photo has blinked. The feature can even remind users to turn on HDR to get the best lighting for a photo. 

The Infinity-U notch houses the 16-megapixel selfie camera with a focus feature to blur out the background. The A30 which runs on Android 9 is equipped with 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage that can expanded to up to 512GB with a micro SD card and packed with 4,000mAh battery capacity. Celcom is offering the Black, Blue and White colour option under its plan.

Users can also get the more affordable Samsung Galaxy A10 worth RM499 for free when signing up for Celcom's postpaid plans – the Gold plan with 40GB data for only RM98/month, the Gold Plus plan with 50GB data for RM128/month, the Platinum plan with 60GB data for RM148/month or Platinum Plus with 100GB data for RM188/month. All the plans come with 100GB Super Video Walla and unlimited calls to all networks.

An upfront payment of RM400 is required and the amount will be rebated in the first bill. Users will also be tied to a 24-month contract. 

The A10 is a 6.2in device with HD+ display and Infinity-V notch. It comes with 2GB RAM and 32GB space. Users can expand the space to up to 512GB with a micro SD card. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera and five-megapixel selfie camera. The device runs on Android 9, supports facial recognition unlock and is equipped with 3,400mAh battery. Users can choose from Black, Blue or Red colour options.
