Apple has launched a refresh of the iMac for 2019 on the Apple store, with the highest-end configuration – equipped with an i9 processor, Vega 48 graphics card, 64GB RAM, and 2TB SSD – coming in at a staggering RM22,779.

Looking closer at the iMac configurator on the site, it's revealed that the culprit behind that price tag is the markup that Apple placed on the RAM and storage, with the markup being almost double the industry standard.
