Facebook acknowledged testing the dark mode feature in 'a handful of markets'.

Facebook is reportedly ready to introduce a dark mode to its Messenger app, making it the latest social media platform to follow the trend after Twitter and Reddit announced their versions earlier.

The world first found out about Facebook’s secret dark mode testing in October last year when tipster Jane Manchun Wong posted multiple Facebook Messenger screenshots showing the app with a black background and chat thread menu. Facebook didn’t respond to any immediate queries regarding the update back then.
