The Big Tech company is allegedly developing a cryptocurrency for use on WhatsApp.

Facebook is reportedly developing its own stablecoins, a type of cryptocurrency, tied to the US dollar, which can be used for WhatsApp transfers.

As the value of cryptocurrency continues to decrease from its all-time high in December of last year – a decrease of about US$14,000 (RM58,000) per coin over the past year according to CryptoCurrencyChart.com – Facebook continues to hang onto the blockchain dream.
