Microsoft's Edge Browser can read web pages aloud to you in Windows 10, assisting users who want to give their eyes a rest or simply prefer to listen.

To use the feature, open a page in the Edge Browser and activate Reading View using the book symbol to the right of the address bar.

Then click the right mouse button anywhere in the text and select "Read aloud" in the menu that appears. Edge will then highlight the word that is currently being read in yellow.

You don't have to switch to Edge to get this function, however. Major browsers like Firefox and Chrome have text-to-speech extensions that can add this feature. – dpa
