A standard installation of Windows 10 comes with several more or less useful programs. If you prefer to delete the ones you don't need and so free up space on your hard drive, you can uninstall unwanted programs by hand.

However, a quicker way is to use the free tool 10AppsManager which shows you an overview of all of the default, pre-installed apps in Windows 10 and allows you to uninstall them with just a few clicks. You can also use it to reinstall the apps.

Major Windows updates can sometimes install unwanted programs. To see what's there you can follow the path Start > Settings > System > Storage and then click on "Free up disk space". By removing older Windows installations, you can recover a lot of hard disk space. – dpa
