Want to try a game but not sure if it's worth downloading?

To solve this first world problem, Google has introduced Google Play Instant for games on its app store, which allows users to test titles without downloading.

In a post on The Keynote, Google Play Instant product manager Jonathan Karmel said the feature would be available in the Play Store, Play Games app, or wherever game links are shared.

He added the Play Games app has also been redesigned to help users discover new games.

"People all over the world come to Google Play to discover great games. In the last year, the number of Android users who installed a game has more than doubled," he said.

Among the new features was the “Arcade” tab, where users can view video trailers or use tags like “New” or “Action” to find a particular type of game.

The app store will also display news and YouTube videos related to users' favorite games to share tips and tricks.
