The 11in MacBook Air is now going for RM2,799.

The price of Apple's 11in MacBook Air has dropped even further, now down to RM2,549.00 on Shopee.

The early-2015 model had a shelf price of RM3,799 before being discontinued by Apple's own Malaysian online store.

Combined with Shopee's Electrifying Gadgets sale, buyers can get a further RM150 discount, knocking off almost 37% off the original price.

To get the further discount, buyers would need to use the 'MOBILE150' code at checkout.

The offer was by Amazing Store, a retailer on the e-commerce site, not the official Apple store.

A check of the retailers page showed they had a 4.7 (out of 5) rating based on 594 ratings, and were with Shopee for nearly two years.

Last week, Apple's official Lazada store was selling the same model – with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage – for RM2,799, down from RM3,799.
