Sony has introduced its latest products designed to create an instant party atmosphere at the touch of a button.

The Japanese electronics manufacturer has unveiled three new Bluetooth speaker models at the CES trade fair in Las Vegas.

The SRS-XB41, SRS-XB31 and SRS-XB21 models are waterproof and dustproof according to IP67 standards. According to Sony, the speakers can also easily be washed and taken underwater. The two larger models also have an LED light bar and a strobe light.

Sony notes that each speaker has a battery life of 24 hours and can also be used as a power bank via a USB charging port.

All three models will be available starting in April. The largest model, the SRS-XB41, will cost US$275 (RM1,103), while the medium-sized SRS-XB31 will go for just over US$200 (RM802). The smallest model, the SRS-XB21, which comes without the light bar and cannot be used as a power bank, will cost US$143 (RM573). — dpa
