If you want to print photos directly from your smartphone or tablet at home, you will need two things: a WiFi-ready printer and the matching app from its manufacturer. The app can typically be downloaded free of charge from your phone's app store.
The print app will often allow you to edit images, change the image size, the image section and the paper format, as well as accessing photos stored online in addition to the locally stored pictures, according to the German Photo Industry Association.
