To register, you'll need your current Gmail address and to own an Apple mobile device that runs on at least iOS 10.

Apple fans looking to consolidate all their emails in one place will be pleased to hear that Google plans to soon open up the official Gmail iOS app to external e-mail service providers.

Users will be able to use the app to access, for example, their accounts on Yahoo, Microsoft or any other non-Google e-mail accounts.
