Microsoft gives a glimpse of future design changes for Windows

Microsoft's Fluent Design nevertheless promises a more pleasant and fluid user experience, with more light and depth, as well as new animations and transitions.

As the latest Windows 10 update – the "Fall Creators" update – starts to roll out, Microsoft is already thinking ahead to 2018. The firm has unveiled a video showing a glimpse of what's in store for the future interface of its operating system. Called Fluent Design, it refreshes the codes of Microsoft's "Project Neon" with an even more uncluttered design. 

Although no major shakeups are expected, Microsoft's Fluent Design nevertheless promises a more pleasant and fluid user experience, with more light and depth, as well as new animations and transitions. Ultimately, the new uncluttered and flat, minimalist design feels modern and in line with the times.
