The companies, speaking at at the recent video games fair Gamescom, say the fantasy role-playing game will launch for PCs with a new ego perspective and higher resolution up to 8K (7,680 to 4,320 pixels).
It will also have in-built support for enhanced colour and contrast ranges, using HDR10 technology, as well as Dolby Atmos sound.
The PC version will contain numerous extra visual features to the console version, director Hajime Tabata said at the press conference in Cologne.
