Brightstar Distribution Sdn Bhd has just announced that the OnePlus 3T is now in Malaysia.
As the new flagship phone in the OnePlus line, the OnePlus 3T has a number of significant hardware and software updates over the slightly older OnePlus 3.
Featuring an aluminium unibody design that is only 7.35mm thick, the OnePlus 3T runs on Qualcomm's more powerful Snapdragon 821 processor, 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB internal storage. There is no microSD card slot however.
The 5.5in 1080p display uses “Optic AMOLED” technology which the company claims produces colours that are more vivid than other AMOLED displays on the market while offering excellent battery life.
Alternatively, the user can also customise the display calibration and switch to sRGB mode for more accurate colour reproduction.
Both the front–and rear–facing cameras are 16–megapixel models with f/2.0 apertures, although only the rear-facing one comes with optical image stabilisation and phase-detect autofocus.
The OnePlus 3T comes with a higher-capacity 3,400mAh battery compared to the OnePlus 3 which only had a 3,000mAh one.
The OnePlus 3T comes in either GunMetal or Soft Gold colours and is available right now from authorised retailers for a recommended retail price of RM2,229 (inclusive of GST).
