Google has announced an update to its Search feature: a new option that allows you to simply "tap" on shortcuts located underneath the search box.
The shortcuts have been introduced for "moments when you just want to catch up on the latest for topics of interest" according to the Google blog, such as what's on at your local theatre, recommendations on nearby restaurants, sport scores, quick-access tools and weather forecasts.
