Amazon unveils unified chat, video conferencing service Chime

Amazon Web Services, the cloud-hosting unit of the world’s biggest e-commerce operator, unveiled a video and audio conferencing service that lets users chat and share content. 

Amazon Chime will work on desktop computers as well as mobile devices using Android and Apple Inc’s iOS operating system, Seattle-based Amazon.com Inc said in a statement. Early users and partners of the service include Brooks Brothers and Vonage, it said.
