French startup Gaspard has developed a connected intelligent liner pad, which uses a system of sensors to help prevent pressure sores for wheelchair users, people of reduced mobility or patients hospitalised for long periods of time.
Morgan Lavaux, the 29-year-old entrepreneur who developed this innovative product, was himself the victim of an accident that left him paraplegic. Now, the young inventor is heading to CES 2017 in Las Vegas early in January to present his product.
